1. Health outreach programmes 衛健外展服務

In 2023, a total of 35 health-related activities were organized, including weight gain and loss programs, anti-smoking campaigns, smoking cessation classes, HIV prevention and screening, water-drinking promotion, healthy eating activities, training for food service personnel, blood donation drives, first aid training, and infectious disease prevention campaigns.

The weight management and smoking cessation classes attracted many students and staff concerned about their health, while the HIV prevention and screening activities enhanced awareness and prevention capabilities. The water-drinking and healthy eating activities encouraged students to develop good dietary habits, and the first aid training improved participants' ability to respond to emergencies.

Sustainable Impact: The improvement of health awareness and the change of health behaviors.

2023年共辦理健康增重減重班、菸害防制宣導、戒菸健康班、愛滋病防治及篩檢、多喝水活動、健康飲食活動、餐飲從業人員講習、愛心捐血、急救訓練及傳染病防疫大作戰等35場次的健康活動。健康減重增重班和戒菸健康班吸引眾多關心自身健康的師生參加,而愛滋病防治及篩檢活動提高師生對疾病的認識和預防能力。多喝水和健康飲食活動鼓勵了學生養成良好的飲食習慣。急救訓練則提升了大家在面對突發事件的應對能力。

2. Free medical consultation and community health education seminar義診及社區衛教健康講座

Since 2020, our project team has been collaborating with the Tri-Service General Hospital Keelung Branch to organize health promotion activities. In 2023, we continued providing medical services in Longmen Village, Gongliao District, and Xinji Village, Shuangxi District. These activities not only offer free medical resources and social opportunities to rural areas but also provide targeted medical care for specific groups. A total of 77 community residents and 3 physicians participated in this event, which included health lectures and free dental consultations. Hospital nurses introduced the community to various chronic diseases and prevention methods, such as metabolic syndrome, hypertension, diabetes, and kidney disease. Additionally, the nurses guided elderly residents through the “Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE) Eight Domains” assessment, helping them evaluate their health and leading them in simple exercises they could safely perform at home.

Lastly, dental specialists conducted in-depth oral health assessments for each elderly participant, addressing common issues such as cavities, periodontal disease, and dentures. They provided check-ups and consultation services, aiming to enhance the health care of elderly community members through these free consultations and educational lectures.

Sustainable Impact: Through free medical consultations and health education seminars, we aim to promote the health of elderly members in the community.

本計畫團隊與三軍總基隆分院從109年開始合作辦理健康促進活動,112年持續於貢寮區龍門里與雙溪區新基里辦理醫療服務,除了提供偏鄉免費醫療資源及社交活動機會,同時針對特定族群給予醫療關懷。此次活動共77位社區居民與3位醫師人員參加,包含健康講座與牙科義診,由醫院護理師為社區里民介紹多種慢性病的認識與預防方法,包含代謝症候群、高血壓、糖尿病及腎臟病。同時護理師也透過「長者整合性照護評估八大面向(ICOPE)」引導社區長輩自行評估自身身體狀況,並帶領長輩做簡易運動,使其在家也可以做安全又健康的運動。

永續影響力: 透過義診與衛教講座活動,達到照護社區長者健康目的。

3. Development and cooperation of aquatic products and agricultural products水產品及農產品開發與合作

Food-borne diseases are one of the food safety issues of global concern, and the impact caused by microorganisms is even greater. According to theliterature review data, the proportion of foodborne pathogens that may develop drug resistance is not low, and drug-resistant strains have also been found in many food categories. In order to understand whether drug-resistant microorganisms are contained in the food manufacturing process, this project is used to understand food manufacturing The background value of microorganisms in the process, as well as whether the processes and products at different stages contain drug-resistant microorganisms, and relevant management regulations are proposed to facilitate future policy formulation, so as to reduce the probability of food-borne pathogens spreading and causing disease, and thereby promote food safety.

Sustainable Impact: Assist fishing villages in establishing concepts of processing safety and hygiene, promoting diversification of seafood products and enhancing the value of fishing villages.

北區水產加值打樣中心提供漁民一站式諮詢服務,以「整合、加值、創新」的核心規劃,提供產品加值創新的永續經營機制,一條龍輔導措施包括整合諮詢、打樣輔導、試量產、公版包裝服務等,以提高水產品價值。結合產業發展推動漁村再生,推動學術與社會企業,跨域協助漁產業經營,強化產品效益與改善漁業生產環境,提升農村生活品質。推動農漁業產品精緻化,形塑自有品牌特色;推動在地生產、產品多元行銷,加強製程安全,開發在地食材新需求,整體行銷國產安全、優質特色產品。

永續影響力: 協助漁村建立加工安全衛生觀念,帶動水產品多元化並提升漁村價值。
