1. Investment Exchange Traded Fund 投資「指數股票型基金」

In order to implement the active spirit of "Sustainable environment" in the "University's Social Responsibility" program, and considering about the profitability and safety. Our university has authorized on the following index equity funds (ETFs) of the investment management team to invest within predetermined limitations in periodic batches since May 2021, with the constituent stocks of the "Yuanta FTSE4Good TIP Taiwan ESG ETF" being chosen from listed stocks with the goal of sustainable management. Approximately 30% of the investment fund is now being invested by this university. By purchasing the fund that tracks the Taiwan sustainability index of ETF, it is meant to invest indirectly in high social responsibility or environmental sustainability. A sustainable firm might be able to take into account the university''s social responsibility in addition to improving investment income for the university.

Sustainable Impact: To fulfill its University Social Responsibility (USR) under the theme of "Sustainable Environment," National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) authorized its Investment Management Committee in May 2021 to allocate a portion of the university endowment toward sustainable financial instruments. Approximately 30% of the investment portfolio is devoted to the Yuanta Taiwan ESG Sustainability ETF, which comprises publicly listed companies recognized for their excellence in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. This strategy aims to ensure both financial stability and ethical investment impact—supporting enterprises committed to green energy, responsible management, and long-term sustainability. Through this approach, NTOU aligns institutional finance with sustainability goals, achieving a balance between profitability and environmental stewardship. This initiative exemplifies SDG 7.2.6, promoting responsible investment in renewable and sustainable energy sectors to advance the global transition toward a low-carbon economy.

為積極落實『大學社會責任』中『永續環境』之精神，並考量資金之收益性及安全性，本校校務基金自110年5月起，授權投資管理小組於規範之額度內進行投資，定期定額分批建構下列指數股票型基金(ETF)，其中「元大臺灣ESG永續ETF基金」成分股是由上市股票中評選出致力於ESG發展，以永續經營為目標的上市股票，目前本校投資比例約為投資基金之30%，期能藉由投資在追蹤臺灣永續指數ETF之基金，間接投資於高社會責任或重視環境永續的企業，或可同時兼顧大學社會責任及增加本校之投資收益。

永續影響力: 為落實大學社會責任（USR）中「永續環境」的核心理念，國立臺灣海洋大學自110年5月起授權投資管理小組於安全範圍內進行基金投資，策略性配置於具永續導向之ETF產品，特別是「元大臺灣ESG永續ETF基金」。該基金以ESG（環境、社會與治理）表現優異的上市公司為成分股，代表企業在能源轉型、環境保護與永續經營方面的積極作為。目前投資比例約占總基金30%。透過此舉，學校在確保基金收益穩健的同時，亦將資金導入具有社會責任的企業，實現「永續投資」與「教育機構社會責任」雙重目標，符合SDG 7.2.6所倡導之永續能源與責任資金運用原則。
