永續發展

本校永續亮點

國立臺灣海洋大學致力於開創綠色永續新未來，在生科領域、能源等方面有傑出成果，具體表現在實踐養殖與漁電共生智慧化、航輪智慧化、離岸風電施工與運維智慧化、港灣與碼頭智慧化、船舶與水下技術智慧化等前瞻永續發展技術。未來將逐步擴大落實永續發展事務，連結國際，推動永續發展國際合作，攜手國際夥伴共同解決永續發展所面臨的環境、社會與經濟問題。

永續亮點1：成立大學永續專責單位

2023年成立「社會責任實踐與永續發展中心」，彙整社會責任實踐暨SDGs目標等資訊，綜理本校永續發展業務，發揮社會影響力。

永續亮點2：教學-環境永續教育課程數居全台之冠

根據CSR@天下的報導，本校每千人學生環境永續課程數居全台之冠。課程規劃對應至SDGs多項目標，如SDG 4「優質教育」、SDG 7「經濟適用的清潔能源」、SDG 9「產業、創新和基礎設施」、SDG 13「氣候行動」、SDG 14「水下生物」、SDG 17「促進目標實現的夥伴關係」等。

永續亮點3：研究-海洋特色研究高度契合永續發展議題

本校為全臺唯一以海洋為主體的大學。特色專業領域包括：1.水下生物與生態、2.海事工程與水資源環境議題、3.海洋再生能源結合淨零碳排、4.離岸風電與海洋能，以上皆與永續發展議題高度契合。

永續亮點4：服務-推動地方創生永續發展

本校5個USR計畫，由教師帶領青年學子共同參與，深入在地解決社會問題，促進學校和社會共生共榮；以地方創生、永續發展、人才培育與國際連結為主軸。

永續亮點5：森林海景校園

為達碳中和目標，本校設定減碳計畫，減量的方法包括：1、配合政府推動的四省計畫，2、提高能源使用效率。3、啟動校園植林(大型樹木)與海中造林(大型海藻)減碳計畫。
