- Energy Conservation Working Group Meeting 節能工作小組會議
In recent years, the government has taken the lead in saving energy, and regularly assesses energy use through the “Energy Conservation Action Plan for Government Agencies and Schools” (105-108). 109-112) with the overall goal of increasing the electricity efficiency in 112 by 10% compared with 104. In order to cooperate with the Executive Yuan to implement the plan, the school held a meeting to formulate the school's annual energy-saving goals and measures, and regularly reviewed and improved.
Sustainable Impact: Through energy conservation plans for government agencies and schools, setting clear electricity reduction targets and regular review mechanisms cultivates energy-saving awareness, effectively reduces public sector energy consumption, and sets a sustainable example for society.
近年政府帶頭節能,以「政府機關及學校用電節約能源行動計畫」(105~108年)定期管考能源使用情形,109年起行政院推動「政府機關及學校用電效率管理計畫」(109-112年)以112年用電效率較104年提升10%為整體目標,本校為配合行政院執行該計畫,定期召開會議擬定本校年度節能目標與措施,並逐年檢討改善。

Purpose of the Plan:
The system controls the activation and deactivation of equipment based on the number of people present in the area, with the aim of achieving energy saving and carbon reduction. For example, when there are fewer than 10 people, only one set of air conditioning units and one lighting circuit will be turned on. When the number exceeds 10, two sets of air conditioning units and two lighting circuits will be activated. When the area is empty, all air conditioning will be turned off, while one lighting circuit will remain on to indicate that the area is still open. Fully turning off all lights might create the false impression that the area is closed.
Implementation Method:
- Utilize IoT technology by installing two Raspberry Pi devices with webcams in the space, one for the front view and one for the rear view. Every 10 minutes, photos are taken and uploaded to a GPU-equipped computer in the server room.
- Run YOLOv4 on the GPU server for image recognition, and using the current weights, detect whether there are people present and count the number of people.
- Based on the configuration and the number of people, control the activation and deactivation of equipment accordingly.
Sustainable Impact: By integrating IoT and AI technology for smart space management, automatically adjusting HVAC and lighting based on occupancy levels, this system achieves precise energy savings and carbon reduction while establishing a model for intelligent sustainable buildings.
計畫目的:
依據地點所在人數進行設備啟閉控管,以達到節能減碳目的。例如低於10人時僅開啟一套空調以及一組電燈迴路,高於10人開啟兩套空調及兩組電燈迴路。當現場無人時進行所有空調關閉,以及留一組電燈迴路(代表有開放,全關閉會造成沒有開放的誤會)。
執行方式:
1.運用物聯網技術,於空間架設好前後視角兩台樹梅派與webcam,每10分鐘拍照上傳至機房內有GPU的電腦
2.於GPU server 執行yolov4做影像辨識,並依目前所用權重可以辨識是否有人以及人數
3.依照設定並依人數進行設備啟閉控管
