1. Fishermen's Village Healthcare

In collaboration with Lienchiang County Hospital, Beigan Township Health Center, the Keelung Branch of the Tri-Service General Hospital, and the Tri-Service General Hospital, regular free clinics and medical seminars are held in the Badouzi and Matsu areas. These initiatives help residents and fishermen respond effectively to emergencies through lifesaving or self-rescue measures, building a healthcare promotion system within the fishing village community.

Sustainable Impact: Reducing healthcare inequality, supporting fishermen's mental health, and improving the quality of life for fishermen.

2. The health promotion activities

NTOU’s health promotion activities were not limited to the campus but also extended into the community. Collaborations with local government agencies and community organizations such as the Keelung City Health Bureau, Keelung City Zhongzheng District Health Center, and Keelung District Fishermen's Association helped to promote these activities outside of the school. Furthermore, partnerships with student organizations enabled health knowledge to be promoted to elementary school children, further expanding the scope and influence of health promotion efforts. This extension from campus to the community demonstrates the broad impact and sustainability of the health promotion activities.

Sustainable Impact: In 2023, a total of 12,969 participants took part in these health promotion activities. The impact is reflected not only in the number of participants but also in the improvement of health awareness and changes in health behaviors.
